Glazing

The following requirements must be solved on the glazed surface of the frame:

• to make as much natural light as possible flow into the home

• to guarantee suitable thermal insulation

• to guarantee suitable acoustic insulation

• to guarantee a level of security in the event of a break-in

This is why Fossati Serramenti offers customers very different glass: low-e, selective, acoustic, with burglar-resistant certified film, and tempered. When combined with double or triple glazing, which is also designed depending on the building’s exposure, they optimise the energy efficiency of the entire house. This creates quieter, more welcoming and secure areas, where the lower heat transfer saves a considerable amount of energy.
